3 Lakes Fly Fishing offers 3 private lakes with quality fly fishing in a very private setting. Our lakes offer excellent fisheries for Kamloop Rainbow, Eastern Brook, and Cutthroat Trout. The sizes range up to 8lbs and often average 2-3 lbs.Fishing is limitied to 1 group and a maximum of 8 persons per lake to maintain a quality fishing experience.

Many of the bamboo rods we build are based on past classic bamboo fly rod tapers. These tapers create ideal fly fishing rods for various types of stream and lake fishing. Their actions are from slow, medium, medium fast to fast. We have access to many of the classic fly rod tapers of the past (Dickerson, Garrison, Granger, Leonard, Payne, Gillum and others) and also some present day tapers. Please inquire if you have a specific rod taper in mind. All of our rods are six strip (hexagon); we do not build four strip (quadrate) rods. At this time, we manufacture only trout size rods.

Principal guide, Roy Morris has been guiding Northwest outdoor adventures since the 1970's. His specialties are saltwater and freshwater flyfishing, as well as fishing with all types of tackle. He is an accomplished riverboat guide, and is a Coast Guard licensed captain for vessels to 50 tons. Retired from a career as a teacher and principal, he now devotes himself full-time to the out-of-doors and enjoying nature. He was on the steering committee that founded the Olympic Park Institute and served as a Board Member for the Environmental Education Association of Washington and many state education associations. Roy is on the Advisory Council for the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary, serves on the Clallam County Marine Resources Commission, and is working on the Washington State Clean Coast Alliance. A member of the Olympic Peninsula Flyfishers and Past President of the Evergreen Fly Fishing Club and member of the Fourth Corner Flyfishing Club. Roy supports many habitat and conservation projects. Associate guide and co-owner, Dr. Nancy Messmer, member of the Northwest Women Flyfishers, has toured and adventured all over the country. Her experiences working in the Wind Rivers Range on pack trips and with outdoor expeditions in the Midwest and Rockies built a wealth of experience and enthusiasm she shares with guest. Roy and Nancy's home is on the Olympic Peninsula. They host guests throughout Washington State and the Northwest.
