Blue Ridge Outfitters - a Vermont fishing guide and outfitter service since 1996. We are located in the Killington, Vermont area and guide fishermen and women in the streams, rivers and lakes of central andOrvis Endorced Guide Logo southern Vermont. Associated with Orvis since 1988, we use Orvis equipment and are Orvis endorsed. We are also a member of The Vermont Outdoor Guide Association, V.O.G.A. where you can buy your Vermont fishing license on line.
Blue Ridge OUTFITTERS has been guiding people who love to fish and instructing beginners since 1996. Our goal is simple: we want our guests to discover and enjoy the same satisfaction and pleasure fishing brings to us. We know the rivers, streams and lakes of beautiful central and southern Vermont where we help our guests find a rewarding fishing adventure. The inevitable fish stories consistently reveal that our guests learn something about fish and their habitat, or just an increased awareness and comfort of being stream side
'Endorsed by ORVIS' means Blue Ridge OUTFITTERS has the knowledge to assist you with your interest in fishing. Whether you are beginner or an avid angler, our goal is to provide the kind of adventure that will make you say it was the best fishing trip you've ever had.
Catamount Fishing Adventures is heading into its 16th year of existence as a fully operational fishing guide/outfitter.
Catamount is owned and operated by
Willy Dietrich and he is the primary guide on all fishing excursions. Willy is the only year round fishing guide in Stowe as he provides fly-fishing, spin fishing, and ice fishing excursions.
Chuck caters to both fly and spin fishermen. You can challenge the famed Battenkill or explore our smaller streams for trout. You can match wits with Black Bass and the feisty Northern Pike. And you can do it all in the postcard setting of beautiful Manchester Vermont. With it's charming inns, quaint villages, wonderful restaurants and friendly people, Manchester is the perfect (spouse-safe) getaway location! So come fishing in Vermont, with expert fishing guide and outfitter Chuck Kashner!
The Classic Outfitters is the only fly shop in Burlington and a great one at that. With plenty of flies, gear and tying supplies this is a full shop that can meet any fly fishing need. Licences sold as well.
Located minutes from the Neshobe, one of our favorite wild trout streams in VT, and the Otter Creek the Cozy Cottages offer privacy and comfort tucked up against the mountains of central Vermont. The town of Brandon has become a hub for the VT art scene as well as a dining destination. Within a short ride of Killington, Rutland, and Middlebury the cottages offer access to many non-fishing activities for those not interested in casting a fly (if that person even exists, we don't think they do).
Just 25 minutes south of Burlington in the 'Little City' of Vergennes this is a great place to stay where you can walk to incredible dining and two relaxing pubs (notice I didn't say bar). In addition, Vergennes is minutes from the Lewis Creek, New Haven River and great spots on the Otter Creek.
Scientifically accurate watercolor illustrations of a variety of fish species by local artist Nick Maye.r
A resident of Lincoln, VT Nick has spent the past 12 years of his life illustrating fish. His former career in fisheries research allowed him to catch and study a variety of different North and Central American gamefish. This website presents paintings inspired by those experiences.
