Such heritage makes Camp Brûlé the quintessential lodge for those wishing to blend the salmon fishing traditions and lore of the past with the catch and release philosophies of the present. Located on the north side of the Douglastown Bay and only a few kilometers from the town of Gaspé in a beautiful setting, Camping Gaspé, under new management, has gone trough a major transformation during the fall of 2005. The office, restrooms, playground and all of the services have gone through an interior and exterior renovation. A laundry room, playground, horseshoe game, a gazebo and many more services such as bicycle, kayak and canoe rentals were added.
Camping Gaspe is located approximately 9.5 km from the historic town of Gaspe. We offer our campers beautiful campsites harmonizing sea , fresh air and tranquility rendering your sleep priceless. Our campground is on the edge of the Douglastown Bay, estuary of the St-John River which is one of the most beautiful salmon rivers in Quebec.
The campground is about halfway between the Forillon National Park and Perce, a very popular tourist town. At 1.5km to the east is Haldimand Beach which is known for its majestic sunrises, its view of the Forillon National Park and its salt-and-pepper sand. If you prefer, a bicycle path is only 1.5km away from us.
When you are visiting our beautiful region, you will be delighted with the comfortable accommodations and professional service provided by the Hotel des Commandants in Gaspe. Its unique location gives it a stunning view over Gaspe bay.

Your fishing adventure begins at our main base in Ste. Anne de Sorel, 45 minutes east of Montreal, Quebec. Here you will board our twin-engine Aztec, flying 235 miles north you arrive at beautiful Lacroix Lake. Lacroix Lodge is known worldwide as one of Canada's premier Fly-in fishing lodges. Lacroix Lake is 22 miles long with varying depths. The north-flowing current at Lacroix allows the water table to remain unchanged throughout the year, which means exceptional fishing. Lacroix Lake is a fly-in fishing resort, not accessible by road and we are the only outfitter on the lake, so there is no fishing pressure at any time.
