Archuleta's Reel Works was established in 1984 in Santa Rosa, California from a need for quality professional repair work on broken or neglected fishing reels. I have been fishing all my life and have been repairing and maintaining my own reels and those of my friends for many years. I graduated from San Jose State College with a B.S. in Industrial Education, and my career as a prototype machinist for a large company enabled me to manufacture reel parts that were no longer available. What began as a hobby became a part time small business. Since I am a devout fly fisherman, I decided to specialize in fly reels only and now do repair work for many fly shops and individuals throughout the world. Having recently retired from my full time job, I have relocated to Grants Pass, Oregon, and am devoting all my time to the reel business. I work on all types of fly reels, old and new, including Hardy, Scientific Angler, Ross and Orvis and have secured all the remaining parts for Streamline. I am also the designated national repair station for Marryat. I can deliver expert diagnostic trouble shooting to arrive at a practical solution for most reel woes, and I personally attend to each and every reel.
The manufacturing of my own line of fly reels is on a special order basis. These reels range in size from trout to tarpon and are one of a kind, individually built to the customer's desires and numbered. I take pride in performing fine, quality artistry in creating these pieces. The Archuleta reel would make a very special gift to yourself or someone you love.

Aspen Ridge Ranch offers private flyfishing on Southern Oregon's famous Upper Williamson River. If it's a one-of-a-kind flyfishing experience you are searching for then look no further than the black drake hatch at the beautiful Aspen Ridge Ranch. The Upper Williamson River meanders for a couple miles though the Ranch and is teeming with native red band trout. Located east of the Cascade mountains in Southern Central Oregon, Aspen Ridge Ranch consists of several hundred acres nestled in a mountain meadow surrounded by national forest. Old growth ponderosa pine, aspen, and boundless wildlife will be your only company at this remote flyfishing haven. To maintain the highest quality flyfishing experience we limit the number of guests to 8 per three-day stay. A maximum of 40 flyfishers per year visit the ranch and we insist on catch-and-release fly fishing with barbless hooks. The fish range from ten to thirty inches and five pounders are not uncommon.
Welcome to Aspen Ridge Resort. Come and share life on a century old, working cattle ranch. Far from the beaten path, Aspen Ridge is nestled in a hidden valley in the mountains of south-central Oregon.
Live a cowboy’s life on a 14,000 acre spread in the middle of nowhere. Indulge yourself in recreation or relaxation. Ride horseback with the ranch crew to check the cattle. Wet a line in a mountain lake. Meander through a meadow full of wildflowers. Just be still and soak in the calm, peaceful beauty. In the restaurant, enjoy traditional western fare prepared with care and pride, and cooked by “the boss” himself. At day’s end, settle back in the comfortable elegance of your own log cabin or lodge room. After a brilliant sunset, beneath a canopy of stars, listen to the coyotes’ serenade. In the morning, the warbling call of sandhill cranes will be your alarm clock.
It is the passion and raw power of this extraordinary fighting fish that is a symbol and inspiration to the Association of Northwest Steelheaders. The optimism and strength of its soul emboldens our organization to labor passionately for the conservation and protection of fish and their habitats.
Just as the Steelhead recognizes the waters of the river estuary they were born from scores of others along the shore and runs the gauntlet of sea lions, harbor seals, and human anglers, our Association has overcome numerous challenges to its operational survival only to continue to emerge stronger and more vigilant each year in the pursuit of its mission: Anglers dedicated to enhancing and protecting fisheries and their habitats for today and tomorrow.
